Photorealistic

This category first appeared in America in the late 1960s and early 1970s, using photography and managing to exceed realism and verisimilitude. Today we use a mash up of photography and illustration, to give an extra realistic sensation.

Photorealism is the three-dimensional representation of a model. The photorealistic model is used to simulate the production of images in the real world and representation of a scene is determined from the light sources, as well as the reflection properties of the surfaces.
